Dust collector injector

An injector for a dust collector is provided to reduce the flow resistance by offering the Coanda effect with a simple structure and to improve the dust collecting efficiency. An injector for a dust collector includes a pressure tube, a spraying tube, and a guide rail. The pressure tube includes a connection hole to transfer and discharge compressed air. The spraying tube is installed on the upper edge of the connection hole, to transfer the compressed air discharged from the connection hole. The guide rail is installed on the upper edge of the spraying tube to mount the pressure tube. The influence of the pulsing air injection nozzle on the performance of a pulse-jet bag filter was examined.

A dual-slit injector was proposed and compared to two other nozzles. The dual-slit injector exhibited superior filter cleaning efficiency and lower dust emission. The dual-slit injector can work well under relatively low pulsing air pressure. The dual-slit injector can reduce the energy consumption for the filter cleaning of a bag filter dust collector.
